Black Scene is one of the biggest on-water gatherings of the Chicago summer. Expect DJs, decorated boats, and a packed Playpen from mid-morning through sunset.

Important: Per USCG regulations, charter vessels are not permitted to tie up (raft) to other boats during this event. Your captain will cruise you through and around the action so you can take in the full scene safely from the water. This is actually one of the best ways to experience the event — moving through the energy with 360-degree views instead of being stationary in the crowd.
