Chicago Scene is the single highest-traffic boating day of the year on Lake Michigan. The Playpen and surrounding harbors are wall-to-wall boats from mid-morning through sunset.

Important: Per USCG regulations, charter vessels are not permitted to tie up (raft) to other boats during this event. Your captain will cruise you through and around the action so you can take in the full scene safely from the water. Many of our guests tell us that cruising through Chicago Scene is actually the best way to experience it — you see the whole event from every angle instead of being anchored in one spot.
